When I first took them out of the box, I was VERY worried. How did they even fit in there?But the branches are "easy to move" wire, so, easy to straighten and then move out as you like. Yes, you do that part. No, you don't rip it about any ole way, or you'll break it. No, the wire is not difficult to move and I have to use a gripper to open jars, I don't have strong hands. Spread the branches out away from the trunk, remember that branches generally reach up to the sky and branches are generally not perfectly straight, so wiggle them about.I've had them for a couple days and doing pretty well. One wasn't working quite right out of the box and I did the Fonzie smack and that would get it going and then the timer wouldn't come on the next day. And then it would. And then it wouldn't. So I called and they were very good about sending a replacement. It would have worked fine for on/off, but I want the timer option.The base is a white square, just like in the photos. It is not flimsy. I'm thinking about making a tree skirt for them. The tree unscrews from the base very easily, so would be a simple thing to add.I'm using them for winter ambiance. It's sad to have the tree down, so this is quite nice.
Love these. Just wish that the batteries would last longer in it.
These trees are so beautiful. The quality is amazing and they’re easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend these to add to your decor. I use them all year round. I’ve ordered four of them battery. Life is also great.
These are delicate and beautiful! Perfect for the top of cupboards in my kitchen!
Update: I must have had a battery that was bad even though they were new. When I replaced them, the tree stopped dimming and is working beautifully. 5 stars!I would have given these a five, but last night one of the trees dimmed and the difference in the two was noticable. I'm not sure why this happened and will update my review to 5 stars if I find it's the batteries, although they're brand new. That being said: I love having some sort of lights up all year long. They cheer up the space. This set of trees are adorable, add light and the bendable branches make it easy to shape them. I can see decorating them for the seasons or holidays. They add a nice bit of light to the room and they're also about 2 feet tall. I like how they came as a set. There's also an easy on/off button on the base, a timer setting or just on/off. (Other than one going dim) I think they're great. The "bark" has the look of a birch tree. Two trees came in one box, just FYI.
