Works fine, and the remote allows some choices in colors and light movement. The light is a bit dull though. Be better if it was brighter. There are instructions, but they aren't very good (never did figure out what the "fade" buttons do). Everything is fairly easy to figure out though. I had it out in very cold temps (20 degrees F) for a couple weeks, and it worked fine. Only had to go out and unbury it after a big snow. Light snow will melt off of it, because of the heat, but nothing more than an inch deep.I think this light would work best if you were 10 feet or less from the wall (cuz it would be brighter), but then it would cover less area. Maybe you need two of them to cover the entire house front.

This was the third set of different projector Christmas lights sold by different companies that we tried. All of them were pretty but just not bright enough to show up on a large red brick house. Sadly we returned each one that we tried. Maybe next year there will be brighter ones out there. I sure hope so. As far as my recommendation on these lights beware of how large an area you are trying to project too and what color they will be showing against. They lit up our living room nicely but we were disappointed after taking them outside at night.

These lights worked well. There was an issue with the remote. It seemed to work when it wanted to.

I use this indoors. I've wanted something like this for a while. I find it relaxing.There are four colors -- red, green, white, and blue. And I think every combination of 1, 2, and 3 colors is available -- except red, white, and green, which I think would have been nice. I don't know why they couldn't have designed it to include that as well.
